WaunaBoom Meeting Minutes 10/21/25 Tuesday 5:30 P.M. Waunakee Village Center Members: Connie Gavinski, Chris Zellner, Amie Zellner, Julie Zellner, Michelle Johnson, Stacey Ryan, Jade Hofeldt, Alex Schmalz, Courtney Morehart, Cindy Kobza, Ellen Schaaf, Trudi Leder, Jen Schmalz, Kristin Runge Call to Order – 5:36pm 1. Roll Call 2. Public Comments – no public present 3. Minutes review – committee approved September minutes 4. 2026 Budget Conversation a. C. Zellner reported on current budget based on 2025 event and current confirmed sponsors. b. Committee reviewed current budget and discussed items to be removed for 2026 5. Renewal of activities a. Committee discussed activities from 2025 and confirmed wish list for returning vendors. Contract costs still need to be confirmed. 6. New Options for 2026 a. A. Schmalz proposed new additions for BYB (Backyard Bounce Event Services) and RAH (Record-A-Hit) contracts i. A. Schmalz to compare pricing for Pirate Ship (BYB) ii. A. Zellner motioned to approve the addition of Long John Silver (RAH). C. Gavinski seconded. Motion carried unanimously. b. C. Morehart shared updated from K9 in the Clouds, to confirm at November meeting c. C. Morehart to follow up with Army on option for Rock Climbing d. A. Schmalz presented on addition of drone media coverage, A. Zellner motioned to approve, J. Zellner seconded. Motion carried unanimously. 7. Food Carts Discussion a. Committee discussed current food cart offerings and park layout. b. Committee unanimously agreed to allow addition of 4-5 more carts with variety from current offerings. 8. Contracts a.
