Waunakee Area Fire District 401 West Second Street Waunakee, WI 53597 -0472 November 2021 Fire District Meeting Minutes November 29, 2021 The Regular Monthly Meeting of the Waunakee Area Fire District was called to order by Chairman Jim Pulvermacher.Roll call showed in attendance: Jim Pulvermacher, Terry Enge, Gary Endres, Nila Frye, Bill Ranum, Chief Dave Kopp, Asst. Chief Gary Hansen, Capt. Brian Adler, and Renee Meinbolz. Comp liance with Open Meeting Laws: Chairperson asked ifwe were compliant with Open Meeting Laws and it was determined that we were. Meeting Minutes: A motion was made by Terry Enge and a second was made by Nila Frye to approve the corrected October 2021 Meeting Minutes, which included Renee Meinbolz in attendance. Motion Carried. Bills: A motion was made by Terry Enge and a second was made by Nila Frye to approve the October 2021 bills as presented. Motion carried. Old Business: A. SAP Program - Chief Kopp shared that aJl of the paperwork was completed, and Renee Meinbolzhad sent everything in. The firefighter checks started toarrive in the mail. B. Engine 2 Update - Chief Kopp informed the board that the new Engine 2 is in the station and available for the board to see. New Business: A. Carpet & Chair Estimate - Chief Kopp presented estimates to the board to replace the carpeting and chairs in the meeting room. The estimates came in at roughly $15,000 to replace the carpet and chairs. Amotion was madeby Chairperson Pulvermacher and a second was made by Gary Endres authorizing the FD to spend up to $18,000 tocomplete the project. Motion carried. Othe r Business: Appreciation ride in the new Engine 2. Fire Inspector's Report: Capt/Inspector Adler infonned the board that we are at the end of the fiscal year and that be will be completing the department payroll in the next couple of days. Next Meeting: December 27, 2021 @ 6:30pm, at the Waunakee Fire Station. Ad jo urnment: A motion toadjourn was made by Jim Pulvermacher and a second was made Bill Ranum. Motion carried.
