Waunakee Housing Task Force Session Eight Agenda 5/09/2019, 5:30 - 7:30 pm Location: Community Room C, Village Center Task Force Charge: The Village Board has created the Waunakee Housing Task Force to gain a full understanding of the existing housing inventory in Waunakee, identify areas of realistic housing need in which the Waunakee housing marketplace ought provide supply, and craft potential policy modifications. Please arrive at least 5 minutes early so that we can begin on time! Pre-work: 1) Review notes from the 4/11/2019 meeting (attached) 2) Take the deliberation survey 3) Fill in the pre-work worksheet (attached) Purpose (for today’s session): (1) Discuss results of the deliberation survey (2) Discuss/Decide recommendations to forward to the Plan Commission to increase the supply of affordable housing in Waunakee. (3) Review results of the Community Survey (4) Continue discussion (decision) on strategy/policy recommendations Anticipated Outcomes: (1) Determine goal for the number of units (at various income levels) to recommend that the Village of Waunakee strive to build (for the recommendations to the Plan Commission) Time permitting: (2) Decide on strategy/policy recommendations to the Plan Commission, to increase the supply of affordable housing in Waunakee.
