Waunakee Housing Task Force Session Nine Agenda 6/13/2019, 5:30 - 7:30 pm Location: Community Room C, Village Center Task Force Charge: The Village Board has created the Waunakee Housing Task Force to gain a full understanding of the existing housing inventory in Waunakee, identify areas of realistic housing need in which the Waunakee housing marketplace ought provide supply, and craft potential policy modifications. Please arrive at least 5 minutes early so that we can begin on time! Pre-work: 1) Review “June Deliberation survey Results” (slide summary of deliberation survey) 2) Review “Waunakee Housing Resident Survey Results 4 June 2019” Purpose (for today’s session): (1) Understand results of resident survey (2) Utilize results of deliberation survey in decision-making (3) Discuss recommendations to forward to the Plan Commission to increase the supply of affordable housing in Waunakee. Anticipated Outcomes: (1) Decide on strategy/policy recommendations. (2) Determine goal for the number of units (at various income levels) to recommend that the Village of Waunakee strive to build.
