Waunakee Utilities Commission Meeting October 11, 2016 Members Present: Roxanne Johnson Chris Zellner Shirley Nelson John Roessler Others Present: Tim Herlitzka John Roessler called the regular meeting of the Waunakee Utilities Commission to order at the Waunakee Utilities facility at 322 Moravian Valley Road. Public Comment There was no public comment. 2017 Employee Healthcare Insurance Plan Selection, 2017 Employee Premium Contribution, and/or Resolution to Withdraw from the Wisconsin Public Employer's Group Health Insurance Program The commission discussed the work completed over the past three years to review the current health plan, the proposals received for health insurance for 2017, and the recent action taken by the village board regarding health insurance for 2017. After a discussion, a motion was made by Chris Zellner and seconded by Roxanne Johnson to:  Approve a Resolution to Withdraw from the Wisconsin Public Employer’s Group Health Insurance Plan effective January 1, 2017.  Select the Unity plan proposal effective January 1, 2017.  Modify the current health insurance policy to have the utility pay 95% of the monthly premium of the low cost plan. Amounts over this level would be paid by employees. Motion carried. A motion was made by John Roessler and seconded by Chris Zellner to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried.
