The following members were present at the meeting: Village of Dane: Kevin Skinner Town of Dane: Bob Lee Village of Waunakee: John Laubmeier Town of Vienna: Jeff Freppon Town of Westport: John VanDinter Village of Waunakee: Gary Walden Town of Springfield: Art Meinholz The following members were absent from the meeting: The minutes of the October 2011 meeting were reviewed. An amendment was made to revise the minutes as follows: Out of the respect for all of our members and their guests, we strongly discourage carrying of firearms in the private portion of the Waunakee Area EMS building” The board strongly agreed that Concealed Carry items should not be allowed in the ambulances, on members of the EMS or on the people that we transport in the ambulances. A motion to approve with amendments was made by John VanDinter, with a second by Art Meinholz. Motion carried. The expenditure statement for September 2011 was reviewed. This review covered operating check numbers 17176 through 17227. A motion to approve was made by Art Meinholz, with a second by Kevin Skinner. Motion carried. Service Director Report Concealed Carry – The Dane County SOG was reviewed. It was acceptable to all members with one addition added by John VanDinter. He suggested we add, “If trained and comfortable, the crew could render the weapon safe.” Recognition Banquet – The date of the banquet is set for April 28th at the Village Center. All WWDDVS members and a guest are invited. Other Business There being no further business, a motion to adjourn was made by John Laubmeier, with a second by Art Meinholz. Motion carried.
