Request from the Facilities Manager to waive the competitive bid 23-909 process for the installation and maintenance of access controls and establish Newport Network Solutions, Inc. as a proprietary vendor through December 31, 2025 Chuck Pomeranke, Facilities Manager, presented. RESULT: RECOMMENDED FOR APPROVAL MOVER: Melissa Dolan SECONDER: David Lewis Aye: 6 Ald Moldenhauer, Ald Fuerst, Ald Arney, Ald Brannin, Ald Dolan, and Ald Lewis Excused: 2 Ald Phillips, and Ald Tilleson 2. Recommendation for approval of an amendment to the Milwaukee 23-934 County agreement for providing fire services to the buildings located on the former County Grounds John Ruggini, Finance Director and Chief James Case, presented . Litigation update regarding Aurora Health Care Inc. v. City of 23-897 Wauwatosa, (various case numbers), Milwaukee County Circuit Court (Tax years 2021-23) Motion by Dolan, seconded by Lewis, to go into closed session pursuant to Wis . Stat. §19.85 (1)(g), to confer with legal counsel for the governmental body who is rendering oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the body with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become involved . Motion carried 6-0. Alan Kesner, City Attorney, presented. Discussion had in closed session. Motion by Dolan, seconded by Lewis, to reconvene to open session . Motion carried 6-0.
