1. Proposal from Alderpersons Morgan and Fuerst to modify adopted Flag 23-879
Policy
Alan Kesner, City Attorney, presented the item.
Public Comments
Elizabeth Ermenc, 2749 N 75th St, provided a few comments regarding the item which included the
International Person of Disabilities flag.
Discussion was had regarding the item.
Motion included an amendment to the proposal so #6 reads as follows: "Flags representing nations, other
than the United States of America."
RESULT: RECOMMENDED FOR APPROVAL AS AMENDED

Disability Flag on December 4, 2023 in honor of National Person with
Disabilities Day
