ROLL CALL Present 5 Member Sharon Eiff Member Gene Guszkowski Member Charlie Mitchell Alderperson James Moldenhauer Member Janel Ruzicka Excused 2 Member, Chair Jim Haertel Member George Beyer APPROVAL OF MINUTES This was approved. RESULT: APPROVED MOVER: Charlie Mitchell SECONDER: Janel Ruzicka NEW BUSINESS 1. Design Review: Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 2160 24-0143 Wauwatosa Avenue Guss Pappas & Evans Caruso, architects from Constantine George Pappas, and Alex Van Osten, church representative, discussed the proposal that includes a new entry off the parking lot as well as a new staircase, railings, and generator screen wall. Charlie Mitchell presented an alternate design for the church entry. Commission members and applicants discussed the proposals. Mitchell moved to approve the alternate design for the church entry . Motion failed for lack of a second. Eiff moved, Ruzicka seconded, approval of the church entry design as submitted . 4-1 (Mitchell) Guszkowski moved, Eiff seconded, approval of the railings, the stairs with closed stair tread, and increasing generator screen wall to minimum 6'.
