Exhibit A “Some Enchanted Evening” (Sung to the Tune, “Some Evening Evening” from the musical, “South Pacific”) for Retiring Webster Groves Police Chief Dale Curtis “Some enchanted evening, Webster saw a stranger, Webster saw a stranger across a crowded room, And somehow we knew, we knew even then, That somehow we’d see him again and again. Some enchanted evening, he loved policing, He loved policing across a crowded room, He stood for the Blue, and always walked tall, He could our leader and protect us all. Who can explain it? Who can tell us why? Fools give you reasons. Wise cities never try! Some enchanted evening, we found our new Chief, When he heard us calling across a crowded room, We flew to his side and made him our own, And for 26 years, we’ve never been alone.
