Hayes and Old Community Baptist Church for Community Event Discussion The Board briefly discussed the event and commented that it was a fun time for everyone involved. Conclusions minutes Action Items Person NONE Responsible Agenda Item 5 Review and Approve Language for PCEB Ordinance Renewal to submit to City Council The Board furthered the discussion of the language of the Discussion proposed ordinance. Dr. Groesch disseminated a copy of the ordinance with the suggested changes from the last meeting. Further review of the ordinance was discussed small changes were recommended to section 4.1205 (Membership) 2 removing training requirements and allowing training to be at the direction of the City Council and Section 5a Communication and Transparency to reflect the Boards inability to host a webpage and the need to have the information channeled through the City of Webster Groves website to adhere to Sunshine requirements. Dr. Groesch will make recommended changes and forward to Erin Klippi to format. Kevin Sombart motioned to accept the ordinance with the recommended changes and present the document to City Council. Rev. Eric Hayes seconded the motion and Katy Miller called for a vote. All board members present voted in favor, none opposed. Conclusions Vote: All In favor Katy Miller, Rev. Do we have input to share? minutes Discussion It was concluded, after a brief discussion, that the PCEB has no official stance regarding the proposal at this time. Conclusion Action Items Person Deadline Responsible None Agenda Item 7 Scheduling Next Meeting(s) – November Date Coincides with Thanksgiving Discussion Conclusions A brief meeting will be held via Zoom on Tuesday November 23rd 2021 @ 6:30 p.m. Action Items Person Deadline Responsible Agenda Item 8 New Board Members/New Board Chair: Updates Discussion A new Board member was to be interviewed by City Council and if approved, will be introduced at the next meeting. Conclusions Katy Miller will continue to serve as interim Board President until such time as the Board has additional members and a new President can be elected. Rev. Eric Hayes will remain on the Board, he suggested sending a letter to area churches to recruit additional Board Members.
