Architectural Review Board Action Summary June 21, 2017
I. CALL TO ORDER
Board Members Present: Kimberly Sundook, Thomas Wenham, Ron Shamash,
William Klein, Roger de Peralta and Damon Robling. Board Members Absent:
Deidre Newton. Staff Members Present: Kelly Ferraiolo, Olga Prieto and
Damian Newell.

A motion was made by William Klein, seconded by Thomas Wenham, to
nominate Kimberly Sundook as Chair. The motion passed 6-0. A motion was
made by Ron Shamash, seconded by William Klein, to nominate Thomas
Wenham as Vice Chair. The motion passed 6-0.
V. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
ARB-107 May 17, 2017 Architectural Review Board Meeting Minutes
A motion was made by Thomas Wenham, seconded by William Klein, to
approve the May 17, 2017 Architectural Review Board Minutes. The motion
passed 6-0.

ARB-108 17-074 (ARB 17-009) Internal Directional Signs at MUPD F at
Wellington Green
A motion was made by Thomas Wenham, seconded by Roger Grave de Peralta,
to approve Petition 17-074 (ARB 17-009) Internal Directional Signs at MUPD F at
Wellington Green. The motion passed 6-0.
ARB-109 17-072 (ARB 17–008) Fairfield Inn and Suite Marriott at MUPD B at
Wellington Green
The Board made a recommendation that the following changes be made to the
elevations and be brought back to the Board at the July 19, 2017 meeting for
review: 1. thicker banding on top of parapets; 2. uniformity with scoring; 3.
living wall on the northwest side of the front facade; 4. reduce signage to be in
between 24 to 36 inches. The Board agreed to allow a second directional sign
and to allow the port-o-cochere and roof top pergolas to remain white. No
formal approval or motion was made.
