A motion was made by Mary Jo Shockley , seconded by Richard Ellis, to
approve the September 10, 2014 Equestrian Preserve Agenda (5-0) with
changes to Meet the Staff.
Aye: 5- Vice Chair Whitlow, Chair Ellie, Ellis, Shockley and Meigs
Absent: 2- Lund and Smith Faver
a. EPC-028 Meet the Staff - Cory Lyn Cramer, Associate Planner
IV. Declaration of Ex-Parte Communication
V. Old Business
a. EPC-026 Ordinance 2014-28 (amending Chapter 5.7 “Seasonal Equestrian
Uses” of the Land Development Regulations)
A motion was made by Vice Chair Michael Whitlow , seconded by Dr. Kristy
Lund, approved (7-0) to recommend approval of Ordinance 2014-28 Equestrian
Special Uses with the following changes: Adding a Type 2B Special Use,
requirements for a renewal permit, added maximum days "per week" and
added "spectator" to attendance.
