Aye: 5- Vice Chair Whitlow, Chair Ellie, Smith Faver, Ellis and Shockley Absent: 2- Lund and Meigs EPC-060 Approval of the November 12, 2014 Equestrian Preserve Committee Meeting Minutes A motion was made by Mary Jo Shockley, seconded by Michael Whitlow, approved (5-0) to approve the November 12, 2014 EPC Minutes. Aye: 5- Vice Chair Whitlow, Chair Ellie, Smith Faver, Ellis and Shockley Absent: 2- Lund and Meigs Old Business EPC-058 Finalize Vision and Draft Goals, Objectives and Policies with the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council (TCRPC) Marcela Camblor-Cutsaimanis, Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council, facilitated discussion and drafted the goal of the Equestrian Preservation Element of the Comprehensive Plan. EPC-059 Saddle Trail Park Proposed Improvement Project Conceptual Design Elements Presentation Update Bill Riebe provided an update to the Conceptual Design of the Saddle Trail paving. He provided a to-scale, replica of the design of the roadway. The committee expressed their concerns of the paving including the bridle path material, car speed, gate openings, site lines, and the impact beyond the effected community. The agreed that the hedge along the bridle trail should be no taller than two feet.
