A motion was made by Houston Meigs, seconded by Richard Ellis, approved
(5-0) to approve the November 20, 2014 agenda with the deletion of the Polo
West and reordering of The Ridge and USPA presentations.
Aye: 5- Chair Ellie, Smith Faver, Ellis, Shockley and Meigs
Excused: 1- Vice Chair Whitlow
Absent: 1- Lund
V. Workshop
a. EPC-054 Presentation by The Ridge
Nona Garson, owner of The Ridge, provided a presentation on her vision for
the future plans for the farm, what the committee can do to help and her
experience with the permitting process.
b. EPC-055 Presentation by the United States Polo Association (USPA)
Peter Rizzo, CEO of the United States Polo Association (USPA), provided a
presentation on the global view of polo, the growth of the industry and current
trends.
c. EPC-056 Presentation by Polo West
Presentation was cancelled.
