Call to Order/Pledge of Allegiance Chair Cleveland called the meeting to order at 6:15 p.m. Jane Cleveland, Dr. Kristy Lund, Doug Hundt, Carol Cohen, Dr. Rachel Eidelman, Robert Bushey, and Dr. Sergio Guerreiro were present. II. Approval of the August 3, 2016 Equestrian Preserve Committee Agenda The agenda for the August 3, 2016 Equestrian Preserve Committee meeting was approved with the reordering of item EPC-114, Discussion of the Equestrian Plan of Action Draft, State Statute 604.50 to occur before item EPC-115, Ordinance No. 2016-20. III. EPC-112 Approval of the April 13, 2016 Equestrian Preserve Committee Minutes Doug Hundt made a motion to approve the April 13, 2016 Equestrian Preserve Committee Minutes; Dr. Rachel Eidelman seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously (7-0). IV. EPC-113 Approval of the June 1, 2016 Equestrian Preserve Committee Meeting Minutes Doug Hundt made a motion to approve the June 1, 2016 Equestrian Preserve Committee Minutes; Dr. Rachel Eidelman seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously (7-0). V. New Business EPC-115 ORDINANCE NO. 2016-20 AN ORDINANCE OF WELLINGTON, FLORIDA’S COUNCIL AMENDING SECTION 6.5.8.B OF THE WELLINGTON LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS RELATED TO BUILDING HEIGHT LIMITATIONS; AMENDING SECTION 6.10.6- TABLE B OF THE WELLINGTON LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS RELATED TO THE DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS IN THE EQUESTRIAN OVERLAY ZONING DISTRICT; PROVIDING A CONFLICTS CAUSE; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Dr. Sergio Guerreiro made a motion to approve Ordinance No. 2016-20. The motion was seconded by Dr. Kristy Lund and it carried unanimously (7-0). VI. Workshop EPC-114 Discussion - Equestrian Plan of Action Draft, State Statute 604.50 VII. Staff Comments Cory Lyn Cramer informed the committee of the Winding Trails application which is tentatively scheduled for the September or October Equestrian Preserve Committee Village of Wellington Page 1 Equestrian Preserve Committee Action Summary August 3, 2016 meeting.
