The meeting was called to order by Council President at 5:30 p.m.

C. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
2019-0146 Minutes (Draft) of the January 29, 2019 Committee of the Whole Special Meeting.

A motion was made by Ald. Haass, seconded by Ald. Vitale, that this matter be Approved. The
motion carried unanimously.
D. NEW AND PREVIOUS MATTERS
2019-0149 Deliberation and negotiation regarding the development of the area near the
intersection of South 70th Street and West Washington Street.

Discussion ensued on potential developments and related costs.

2019-0145 Presentation by City Attorney regarding municipal authority and standards for issuing
new licenses and renewing existing licenses.

2019-0149 Deliberation and negotiation regarding the development of the area near the intersection

For the above agenda item, the committee may convene in closed session pursuant to the
provisions of Wis. Stat. Section 19.85(1)(e) for the purpose of deliberating or negotiating the
purchasing of public properties or the investing of public funds. The committee may reconvene in
open session after completion of the closed session to consider the balance of the agenda
