City of West Allis Meeting Minutes Committee of the Whole Council President, Alderperson: Thomas G. Lajsic Alderpersons: Suzzette Grisham, Kevin Haass, Danna Kuehn, Rosalie L. Reinke, Daniel J. Roadt, Tracy Stefanski, Angelito Tenorio, Vincent Vitale, and Martin J. Weigel Monday, May 3, 2021 6:02 PM City Hall, Common Council Chambers 7525 W. Greenfield Ave. REGULAR MEETING A. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Council President Lajsic at 6:02 p.m. B. ROLL CALL Present 8- Grisham, Haass, Kuehn, Lajsic, Reinke, Roadt, Tenorio, and Weigel Excused 2- Stefanski, and Vitale Others Present: Rebecca Grill, City Administrator/Clerk; Dave Wepking, Director of Public Works; Jason Kaczmarek, Finance Director/Comptroller; Patrick Schloss, Economic Development Executive Director; Kail Decker, City Attorney. C. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1. 2021-0310 Minutes (draft) of the April 12, 2021 Committee of the Whole meeting A motion was made by Haass, seconded by Reinke, that this matter be Approved. The motion carried unanimously. CLOSED SESSION 2. 2021-0042 Deliberating the repair or replacement of the Public Works Facility currently located at 6300 W. McGeoch Ave (Closed Session) A motion was made by Haass, to convene into closed session at 6:02 p.m. pursuant to Wis. Stats. 19.85(1)(e) for the purpose of deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties or the investing of public funds. The Committee of the Whole may reconvene in open session after completion of the closed session to consider the balance of the agenda. Aye: 8 - Grisham, Haass, Kuehn, Lajsic, Reinke, Roadt, Tenorio, and Weigel. Others Present: Dave Wepking, Peter Daniels, Jason Kaczmarek, Patrick Schloss, Kail Decker, and Rebecca Closed session items discussed. . ADJOURNMENT A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 7:26 p.m. The motion carried. All meetings of the {bdName} are public meetings. In order for the general public to make comments at the committee meetings, the individual(s) must be scheduled (as an appearance) with the chair of the committee or the appropriate staff contact; otherwise, the meeting of the committee is a working session for the committee itself, and discussion by those in attendance is limited to committee members, the mayor, other alderpersons, staff and others that may be a party to the matter being discussed.
