A. CALL TO ORDER
Council President Lajsic called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
B. ROLL CALL

Weigel
C. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
1. 2021-0824 July 13, 2021 Draft Committee of the Whole Minutes.
Ald. Haas moved to approve this item, seconded by Ald. Reinke, motion carried.
D. NEW AND PREVIOUS MATTERS
2. 2021-0815 Presentation regarding Budget Challenges.
Dan Devine, Mayor, Jason Kaczmarek, Finance Director/Comptroller and Rebecca Grill,
City Administrator/City Clerk gave presentation regarding Budget Challenges.
3. 2021-0816 Discussion regarding the Lease between the City of West Allis, West Allis
Memorial Hospital Inc., and Aurora Health Care, Inc.
Ald. Vitale moved convene in to closed session at 6:43 p.m., seconded by Ald.
Stefanski. Motion carried by the following vote:
Aye: 10 - Grisham, Haass, Kuehn, Lajsic, Reinke, Roadt, Stefanski, Tenorio, Vitale, and
Weigel
No: 0
Ald. Kuehn moved to re-convene in to open session at 6:55 p.m., seconded by
Ald. Vitale. Motion carried by the following vote:
Aye: Grisham, Haass, Kuehn, Lajsic, Reinke, Roadt, Stefanski, Tenorio, Vitale, and Weigel
No: 0
E. ADJOURNMENT
Ald. Kuehn moved to adjourn at 6:55 p.m., seconded by Ald. Vitale, motion
carried.

3. 2021-0816 Discussion regarding the Lease between the City of West Allis, West Allis
Memorial Hospital Inc., and Aurora Health Care, Inc.
For Item 3, the Committee of the Whole may convene in closed session pursuant to the
provisions of Wis. Stat. Section 19.85(1)(e) for the purpose of deliberating or negotiating the
purchasing of public properties or the investing of public funds. The Committee of the
Whole may reconvene in open session after completion of the closed session to consider
the balance of the agenda.
