Appearances: Paul Karczewski, 2340 S. 56 St., opposed the project. He indicated the improvement was unnecessary, there is no truck traffic, and inquired about the alley instead. Linda Lauritch, 2369 S. 55 St., indicated that she anticipated alley work instead of the street. She opposed the project. She commented that she enjoys living in West Allis and appreciates the services, but is already paying for permits and taxes. Randy Schmidt, 2407 S. 52 St., commented on his recollection of the reconstruction and resurfacing of the street. Fred Kuolt, 2350 S. 52 St., commented on paying for the street in the past, and mentioned the City of Milwaukee garbage trucks using the street. Mary Puccini, 2330 S. 57 St., stated that she is a recent resident, commented on her tax dollars and her previous experience with public road improvements in another state. E. CITIZEN PARTICIPATION Arthur Kastner, 2875 S. Root River Pkwy, commented on backyard flooding and request for a culvert pipe. F. Weigel reported on the announcement of the purchase of the Canadian Pacific Railroad right-of-way and turning it into a bike path by 2009. He commented on the Bicycle Federation of Wisconsin Bike Advocate Week and the request for bicycle facilities. He reported on the Community Dinner/Dance. He attended the MMSD Chapter 30 hearing regarding the County grounds and spoke on behalf of the Milwaukee County Trails Council. H.
