E. CITIZEN PARTICIPATION
Phil Rehberg, 5798 Point Dr., Waukesha, owner of West Allis Salvage, addressed salvaging
and recycling centers in regard to zoning, and commented on restricted locations in West Allis
for this use. He stated that the average salary at West Allis Salvage is $35,000 per year with
some employees making up to $60,000 including benefits. He would like to stay in West Allis,
and thinks they are an asset to the community.

Mayor Devine announced that the following Committees would meet during recess:

Mayor's Report
Mayor Devine congratulated Samantha Schneider on her national title for cycling. Mayor
Devine reminded everyone to drive carefully since school is back in session. He attended open
houses at Horace Mann and Hoover Schools. He also announced the Forks and Corks event.
Alderpersons Comments
Ald. Weigel announced new businesses that are opening: 88 Keys Piano Martini Lounge and
Burlington Coat Factory. He announced the ribbon cutting at the Heritage facility.
