Weigel Wednesday, January 2, 2013 7:00 PM City Hall Common Council Chambers REGULAR MEETING A. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Mayor Devine at 7:00 p.m. B. ROLL CALL Present 10 - Ald. Barczak, Ald. Czaplewski, Ald. Lajsic, Ald. May, Ald. Probst, Ald. Reinke, Ald. Roadt, Sengstock, Ald. Vitale, and Ald. Weigel C. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Ald. Probst. D. PUBLIC HEARINGS 1. R-2013-0001 Resolution relative to determination of Special Use Permit for a proposed auto repair facility, JK Automotive, to be located at 714 S. 60 St. Sponsors: Safety & Development Committee Explanation by John Stibal, Director of Development. The Clerk's office received one (1) letter opposed to the Special Use. Appearances: None. E. CITIZEN PARTICIPATION Brian Christ, 1200 S. 73 St., representing Milwaukee Animal Alliance, requested reform at MADACC. He commented on a report by UC Davis, the rate of euthanasia, and lack of transparency. F. ANNOUNCEMENT OF RECESS MEETINGS OF STANDING COMMITTEES Mayor Devine announced that the following Committees would meet during recess: Administration & Finance, Public Works, Safety & Development, License & Health, and Advisory. National Ave. 3. 2013-0007 Jim and Dawn Luther communication regarding vehicle damages allegedly sustained north of W. Lincoln Ave. on S. 124 St. on December 18, 2012.
