Lapham St. and portions of intersecting streets by concrete reconstruction, new driveway approaches, miscellaneous sidewalk repair, storm sewer, storm sewer relay, sanitary sewer relay, water main relay, building services and utility adjustments. Appearances: (see page 2) Carla Bubolz, 1450 S. 87 St., asked about parking, garbage collection, the duration of the project, the effect of water in their homes, and crime. He said that the older residents may be unable to transfer their garbage down the street. Kathy Muench, 1478 S. 87 St., addressed her economic concerns, the effect on persons with disabilities, and requested to park in the school lot. Brett Bezjak, 1433 S. 87 St., inquired about the 4% rate, and asked about the sanitation service that tax dollars pay for. He commented on State Fair bus parking and property sales in summer. Susan Brzycki, 1514 S. 87 St., said that her husband owns a business and needs a garage. She addressed her economic concerns and the effect on her neighbors who are blind. Roger Fiedler, 1450 S. 87 St., addressed the $3,000 assessment amount. Michael Bramow, 1454 S. 87 St., commented on the financial burden of the project. Kevin Kroll, 1464 S. 87 St., said that the street is in bad shape. He commented on the school district's percentage of payment and their traffic and the State Fair buses. He commented on milk delivery at 2 am, his concrete approach, and the comparison of his neighbors' bills. Michelle Rychecky, 1420 S. 87 St., commented on behalf of her neighbors who have an RV and their parking concerns. Brett Bezjak, 1433 S. 87 St., said that the road should be maintained better including the use of salt during winter. 2. G. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS Mayor's Report Mayor Devine reminded everyone about the DOT's major zoo interchange project beginning next week, and asked for support of the businesses in the area. Alderpersons Comments Ald. Vitale commented on a referendum relative to the County Board generated by the State Assembly. Ald. Barczak thanked the Water Division for their quick response to Sammy's Red Hots. Ald. Reinke read a thank you note received from the VA regarding the holiday gifts received by the veterans. Ald. Probst thanked the owners of the Painted Parrot for opening their business to the officers and firefighters during the New Year's Eve fire at Happy Hobby. H.
