A. INTRODUCTORY REMARKS BY MAYOR
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Devine at 6:01 p.m.
Mayor Devine welcome everyone to the virtual meeting; and thanked and read the
proclamations the three (3) outgoing Alderpersons, Gary Barczak, Michael Czaplewski,
and Michael May,
B. REMARKS BY RETIRED ALDERPERSONS AND OTHER MEMBERS OF THE
PREVIOUS COUNCIL
Remarks were made by the retiring Alderpersons Michael May, Michael Czaplewski, and
Gary Barczak.
C. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Devine at 6:10 p.m.
D. ROLL CALL
Present 10 - Grisham, Haass, Kuehn, Lajsic, Reinke, Roadt, Stefanski, Tenorio, Vitale, and
Weigel
Also Present: Patrick Mitchell, Chief of Police; Peter Daniels, City Engineer; Peggy
Steeno, Director of Finance; Ed Lisinski, Director of Building Inspections & Neighborhood
Services; Tony Warkoczewski, Director of Information Technology; Jonathan Matte,
Director of Communications; Jason Williams, Assessor's; Mason Pooler, Fire Chief;
Richard Pfaff, Assistant City Administrator; Dave Wepking, Director of Public Works;
Robert Leischow, Health Commissioner; John Stibal, Director of Development.
E. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mayor Devine.
F. ELECTION OF COMMON COUNCIL PRESIDENT
A motion was made by Ald. Haass, seconded by Ald. Vitale, to nominate Ald.
Lajsic as Common Council Presiden; this matter was Approved. The motion
carried unanimously.

G. ADDRESS BY COMMON COUNCIL PRESIDENT
Council President Lajsic addressed the Common Council and previous alderpersons.
H. ADDRESS BY MAYOR DAN DEVINE
Mayor Devine addressed the alderpersons both new and previous, employees; and
commented on the businesses within West Allis.
I. REMARKS BY MEMBERS OF THE 2020-2024 COMMON COUNCIL
Alderpersons Tenorio, Stefanski, Grisham, and Vitale commented on working with one
another.

K. ADJOURNMENT
A motion was made by Ald. Lajsic, seconded by Ald. Vitale, that this matter was
Approved. The motion carried unanimously.
L. MOTION BY COMMON COUNCIL PRESIDENT THAT THE MEETING BE ADJOURNED TO
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 22, 2020, AT 6:00 P.M
Ald. Lajsic made a motion to adjourn at 6:34 p.m., with the next scheduled meeting to be
held on Wednesday, April 22, at 6:00 p.m

individual(s) must be scheduled (as an appearance) with the chair of the committee or the appropriate staff contact; otherwise, the
meeting of the committee is a working session for the committee itself, and discussion by those in attendance is limited to committee

meaningful access to our programs, services and/or benefits.
