Greenfield Avenue A. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Mayor Devine at 7:00 p.m. B. ROLL CALL Present 10 - Grisham, Haass, Kuehn, Lajsic, Reinke, Roadt, Stefanski, Tenorio, Vitale, and Weigel C. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Ald. Haass. D. CITIZEN PARTICIPATION The following spoke in favor of the conversion therapy ban: Kristen Keyser, 8132 W. Raymond Ln. Jessica Katzenmeyer, 7139 W. ANNOUNCEMENT OF RECESS MEETINGS OF STANDING COMMITTEES Mayor Devine announced that the following Standing Committees would meet during recess: Administration & Finance, Safety & Development, License & Health, and Advisory. F. MAYOR'S REPORT Mayor Devine addressed the assault of Senator Tim Carpenter and wished the best in his recovery. G. ALDERPERSON'S REPORT Ald. Grisham addressed the up tic of car shopping in Aldermanic District Three. Car shopping is described as when vehicles are left unlock and are stolen. Ald. Grisham wants to remind residents to share home surveillance cameras with the West Allis Police Department and register your personal cameras with the department. Please lock your doors. Ald. Weigel mentioned he attended two meetings, along with Ald. Stefanski, regarding McKinley Park reconstruction/development. There will be at least one more meeting. Ald. Tenorio attended a Burnham Point neighborhood meeting along with Ald. R-2020-0349 Resolution to sponsor a parade organized by Alderman Tracy Stefanski along W. Greenfield Ave. and S. 70 St. on July 4, 2020 Sponsors: Alderperson Stefanski Attachments: Resolution statement A motion was made by Vitale that this matter be Reconsidered and Referred back to the Advisory Committee. COMMON COUNCIL RECESS A motion was made by Lajsic, seconded by Vitale, that the Council recess until completion of the Standing Committee meetings. The motion carried unanimously. ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Lajsic, seconded by Reinke, to adjourn at 8:40 p.m., with the next regularly scheduled meeting to be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. The motion carried unanimously.
