Greenfield Avenue REGULAR MEETING A. CALL TO ORDER Mayor Devine called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m. B. ROLL CALL Present 9- Grisham, Haass, Kuehn, Lajsic, Reinke, Roadt, Stefanski, Vitale, and Weigel Excused 1- Tenorio C. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Ald. Kuehn led the Pledge of Allegiance. SEPARATION FROM AGENDA 27. 2021-0758 Signed Findings & Recommendations, Summons and Complaint in the matter of complaint against E. Bomback and L. Bald, Partners, d/b/a The Spot, 6424 W. Greenfield Ave. Agent: Edward Bomback. Mayor Devine stated if there are no objections, he would like to take agenda item #27 out of order and discuss it now. Attorney Decker stated the licensee filed a conditional surrender with a surrender date of November 28, and upon acquisition by the City's Community Development Authority. Because of that he asked the Common Council to table this matter until then. If any significant incidents occur prior to November 28, the Common Council could revoke the license sooner. The Council is not obligated to accept his recommendation but there has been much work done behind the scenes to get to this point to avoid going to court. Ald. Lajsic moved to table the license revocation for The Spot contingent to voluntarily surrendering the Liquor License on November 28, 2021, Ald. Stefanski seconded, motion carried. Finance Director/Comptroller Jason Kazmarek and Administrator/Clerk Rebecca Grill presented the 2022 City Budget. R-2021-0718 Resolution to approve amending certain activities of the FY2019 annual plan of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program relative to the reallocation of CDBG-CV (COVID) funding in the amount of $131,285. Sponsors: Administration and Finance Committee Steve Schaer, Planning and Zoning Manager, presented the changes being made to the CDBG program. E. ANNOUNCEMENT OF RECESS MEETINGS OF STANDING COMMITTEES G. MAYOR'S REPORT Saturday November 20 WACIF hosting a Food Drive at the Farmer's Market. Asking to donate non-perishable food items, more information on website and social media, 1130am to 230pm. Market, food trucks will be there. First 100 people to donate 5 items or more will be entered into a drawing for new city logo wear. H. ALDERPERSON'S REPORT Grisham grateful for the community that came out and shone a great light on our Trick-or-Treat. She saw families and a sense of normalcy that we haven't seen in a while. A special thank you to Mariah Nord for working with her and Ald. Kuehn on the Halloween house decorating contest. The top three winners received gift cards to Half Nuts.
