SPECIAL MEETING-HEARING
A. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Chair Vitale at 5:30 p.m.
B. ROLL CALL
Present 5- Vitale, Grisham, Reinke, Roadt, and Stefanski
Others present: Nicholas Cerwin, Assistant City Attorney, Rebecca Hammock, City
Attorney, Leonard J. Perrin, Joseph Retzlaf, and Ann Marie Neff, Secretary to the
Committee.
C. HEARING
Leonard Perrin, Joseph, Retzlaf, Assistant City Attorney, Nicholas Cerwin, Assistant City
Attorney Rebecca Hammock, members of the License & Health Committee asked and
answered questions at the hearing.
At 6:05 p.m. a motion was made by Ald. Steffanski, seconded by Ald. Grisham, to
convene in closed session. The motion carried unanimously.
Upon conclusion of the closed session at 6:14 p.m., the License and Health Committee
reconvened in open session.
2020-0411 Summons and Complaint in the matter of the complaint against Leonard J. Perrin,
2020-2022 Operator’s License (bartender/sales clerk) renewal application no. 8852

A motion was made by Stefanski, seconded by Grisham, to approve Mr. Perrin's 2020-2022
Operator's License (bartender/sales clerk) renewal application no. 8852. The motion carried
by the following vote:
Aye: 5- Vitale, Grisham, Reinke, Roadt, and Stefanski
No: 0
D. ADJOURNMENT
A motion was made by Grisham, seconded by Stefanski, to adjourn the meeting at 6:15 p.m. The
motion carried unanimously.

2020-0411 Summons and Complaint in the matter of the complaint against Leonard J. Perrin,
2020-2022 Operator’s License (bartender/sales clerk) renewal application no. 8852
For agenda file number 2020-0411, the committee may convene in closed session pursuant to the
provisions of WI State Statutes Sections 19.85(1)(a) and (g) for the purpose of deliberating
concerning a case which was the subject of any quasi-judicial hearing and conferring with the
city attorney who will render oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted with
respect to litigation in which the city is or is likely to become involved. This committee may
reconvene in open session after completion of the closed session to consider the balance of the
agenda.
D. ADJOURNMENT
City of West Allis Common Council members may attend the above License & Health Committee
meeting for information gathering purposes. Should a quorum of Common Council members
appear at this Committee meeting, a regular Common Council meeting may take place for the
purposes of gathering information on an item listed on the Committee agenda. Should such a
meeting occur, the date, time and location of the Common Council meeting will be that of the
License & Health Committee as listed on the License & Health Committee agenda.
