NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING AND CLOSED SESSION
A. CALL TO ORDER
Commissioner Kopplin called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm
B. ROLL CALL
Present: Commissioners Amy Heron, Mark Manthei, Danielle Romain and Kurt Kopplin
Excused: Commissioner Kimberly Cosby
Also Present: Fire Chief Mason Pooler - Fire Department; Principal Assistant City
Attorney Nicholas Cerwin - City of West Allis; Bridget Morawetz, Recording Secretary
C. OPEN SESSION
1. Closed session agenda item related to the voluntary change in rank of fire department
employee Randal Abbrederis
D. CLOSED SESSION
The Board of Police and Fire Commissioners will meet in closed session for the
purpose of considering dismissal, demotion or discipline of any public employee
pursuant to the provisions of Wisconsin Statutes Section 19.85(1) (b) in regards to
the voluntary change in rank of fire department employee Randal Abbrederis. The
Board will not take final action in closed session. Immediately upon completion of
the closed session, the Board of Police and Fire Commissioners will reconvene in
open session to consider the balance of this agenda.
On a motion made and seconded, the meeting convened into closed session at 6:05
pm

E. OPEN SESSION
2. Final action of the Board of Police and Fire Commissioners regarding the voluntary
change in rank of fire department employee Randal Abbrederis.
A motion was made by Commissioner Kopplin and seconded by Commissioner Heron to
approve the voluntary change of rank of fire department employee Randal Abbrederis to
firefighter.
The motion carried by the following votes:
Aye: 4, Commissioners Heron, Kopplin, Manthei and Romain
Nay: 0
F. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, on a motion made and seconded, the meeting adjourned
at 6:43 pm.
