NEW AND PREVIOUS MATTERS 6. 2018-0838 Communication from Director of Public Works regarding promotion of Dave Young to Electrical Superintendent. Attachments: young promotion A motion was made by Ald. Lajsic, seconded by Ald. Vitale, that this matter was Recommended to be Placed on File. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 5- Ald. R-2018-0642 Resolution accepting work of NuGen Johnson, LLC for installation of concrete curb, concrete pavement, asphalt pavement, perforated underdrain, playground elements, bike racks, benches, receptacles, drinking fountain and restoration in Klentz Park located at 2601 South 72nd Street in the City of West Allis and authorizing and directing settlement of said contract in accordance with contract terms for final payment of 2017 Project No. 15 in the amount of $1,000.00 of the $224,024.65 total project cost. Attachments: PWC Communication - Snow and Ice - 10-9-18 11.12 Snow and Ice - marked copy Ed Lisinski, Director of Building Inspection and Neighborhood Services, reviewed the highlights of his communication. Discussion followed with the Committee agreeing to meet at 6:30 p.m. before the next Council meeting on Nov. 5. This matter was Held D. ADJOURNMENT A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 7:45 p.m. All meetings of the {bdName} are public meetings. In order for the general public to make comments at the committee meetings, the individual(s) must be scheduled (as an appearance) with the chair of the committee or the appropriate staff contact; otherwise, the meeting of the committee is a working session for the committee itself, and discussion by those in attendance is limited to committee members, the mayor, other alderpersons, staff and others that may be a party to the matter being discussed.
