City of West Allis Meeting Minutes Public Works Committee Alderperson Gary T. Barczak, Chair Alderperson Vincent Vitale, Vice-Chair Alderpersons: Thomas G. Lajsic, Rosalie L. Reinke, and Tracy Stefanski Tuesday, December 3, 2019 7:00 PM City Hall, Art Gallery 7525 W. Greenfield Ave. RECESS MEETING A. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 7:40 p.m. B. ROLL CALL Present 4- Ald. Vitale, Ald. Lajsic, Ald. Reinke, and Ald. Stefanski Excused 1- Ald. Barczak C. NEW AND PREVIOUS MATTERS 35. R-2019-0823 Resolution accepting work of Zignego Company, Inc. for street construction on W. Lapham St. from S. 56 to S. 60 St. and authorizing and directing settlement of said contract in accordance with contract terms of 2018 Project No. 4 for final payment in the amount of $3,000 of the $992,981.38 total project cost Sponsors: Public Works Committee A motion was made by Ald. Lajsic, seconded by Ald. Reinke, that this matter was Recommended For Adoption. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 4- Ald. Vitale, Ald. Lajsic, Ald. Reinke, and Ald. Stefanski No: 0 36. R-2019-0839 Resolution accepting work of American Sewer Services, Inc. for replacement of private lead service lines at various locations and authorizing and directing settlement of said contract in accordance with contract terms of 2017 Project No. 7 for final payment in the amount of $10,000 of the $825,842.45 total project cost Sponsors: Public Works Committee A motion was made by Ald. National Ave. from S. 76 St. to S. 82 St. and portions of intersecting streets by concrete reconstruction, sidewalk repair, driveway repair, widening/narrowing of pavement, storm sewer relay, sanitary sewer relay, water main relay, building services, utility adjustments and storm underdrain Sponsors: Public Works Committee A motion was made by Ald. Lajsic, seconded by Ald. Reinke, that this matter was Recommended For Adoption. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 4- Ald. Vitale, Ald. Lajsic, Ald. Reinke, and Ald. Stefanski No: 0 38. R-2019-0865 Final Resolution authorizing public improvement by concrete reconstruction, sidewalk repair, driveway repair, widening/narrowing of pavement, storm sewer relay, sanitary sewer relay, water main relay, building services, utility adjustments and storm underdrain in W.
