WEST GROVE BOROUGH COUNCIL Agenda July 10, 2024 – 7:30PM CALL TO ORDER PLEDGE MINUTES • June 5, 2024 FINANCIAL REPORTS PAYROLL TRANSFERS BILLS PERSONS SCHEDULED TO APPEAR: None PUBLIC COMMENTS: FINANCE ISSUES: • Sewer Fund PLGIT CD Matured 7/8/2024 & Reinvested for 181 Days ZONING OFFICER’S MONTHLY REPORT • 275 West Harmony Road – Permit received and in process • 210 Walnut has been put up for sale • 30 Prospect Zoning Hearing Application and Payment have been received. Public notice and hearing date to be issued. PUBLIC WORKS • Paving of West Hillcrest Avenue has been completed, including markings • PennDOT will be doing a surface treatment on Propsect Avenue / East Evergreen and Chatham Road this year. Additional details to be provided following the conference on 7/24. • The portion of Bike Track on Borough property has been dismantled. PUBLIC SAFETY – Chief Greenwalt OLD BUSINESS • Zoning Revision Project Update: o Kevin Myers is currently working on the draft of the revisions. Next meeting scheduled for August 5th at noon. • Park Master Planning Project Update: o Chester County Municipal Park & Trail Improvement Grant secured $100,000 o Notification received that our project has reached the appropriations committee through Representative Houlahan’s office. We are one of 15 projects. • Comprehensive Plan Update o Official Map and Historic Commission/Resource Mapping • Wildcats Park Usage Agreement is currently being crafted for presentation. NEW BUSINESS • Request for approval to release Bid Packages for the following projects: o Oakland Avenue Phase II o Prospect Avenue Sidewalk Extension MAYORS COMMENTS: UPCOMING EVENTS • Public Safety Commission Awards Ceremony & Regular Business Meeting – July 11, 2024, at 7:00pm at the New Garden Township Building • National Night Out – Tuesday August 6, 2024 from 6-8PM ADJOURNMENT
