WEST GROVE BOROUGH COUNCIL Agenda June 5, 2024 – 7:30PM CALL TO ORDER PLEDGE MINUTES  May 1, 2024 FINANCIAL REPORTS PAYROLL TRANSFERS BILLS PERSONS SCHEDULED TO APPEAR:  Elaine Guilday – Borough Parcel 5-5-8.1  David Payne, Avon Grove Library Director PUBLIC COMMENTS: FINANCE ISSUES:  Emergency Repairs Needed o 2” Galvanized water line in Church Alley has a 3rd leak in less than 6 months. Fidelity has quoted $32,200 to directionally bore a new line and the quote has been reviewed by Hanover Engineering. The current leak is entering the foundation of a home on Walnut Street. o The water leak at the intersection of Guernsey Road and Willow Street is a valve that needs to be replaced. Public Works schedule with mowing and recycling will not allow us to schedule the repair. Fidelity quoted $10,300 to replace the valve and repair the leak. ZONING OFFICER’S MONTHLY REPORT  275 West Harmony Road – Stop Work Order Issued PUBLIC WORKS  Water leak on West Evergreen Street has been repaired. PUBLIC SAFETY – Chief Greenwalt OLD BUSINESS  Zoning Revision Project Update: o Kevin Myers is currently working on the draft of the revisions.  Park Master Planning Project Update: o Chester County Municipal Park & Trail Improvement Grant secured $100,000 o Notification received that our project has reached the appropriations committee through Representative Houlahan’s office. We are one of 15 projects.  Comprehensive Plan Update o Official Map and Historic Commission/Resource Mapping  Prospect Avenue Sidewalk CRP Grant Project: o We have responded to the Highway Occupancy Permit questions from PennDOT and are awaiting their response. They have 30 days to respond.  Oakland Avenue Revitalization Phase II CPF Grant Project: o The Environmental Review was resubmitted and approved. We are clear to bid the project and hopeful we can do so with the sidewalk project on Prospect Avenue.  Wildcats Park Usage Agreement is currently being crafted for presentation. NEW BUSINESS  July Borough Councl Meeting – Request to move the meeting to July 10th.  Appointments to the Zoning Hearing Board o 3-year term o 2-year term o 1-year term o Alternate MAYORS COMMENTS: UPCOMING EVENTS  Public Safety Commission Meeting – June 13, 2024, at 7:00pm at the West Grove Borough Municipal Building ADJOURNMENT
