Wright Pension Board Present John Karajanis Chief of Police Absent Joseph Perno Assistant Chief of Police Present David Russell City Liaison Absent After the Pledge of Allegiance, Chairperson, Raymond Collins III, called the meeting to order at 7:00pm. 1.MINUTES: A motion was made by Commissioner Sweeney to accept the minutes of 10/17/17 as read. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Wright PUBLIC INPUT:. None Public input session was closed at 7:02pm 3.COMMUNICATION: 3.1 Monthly Attendance Support – October 2017 Commissioner Wright requested further clarification of report from Deputy Chief and discussion held. 3.2 Animal Control Division Monthly Reports – October 2017 3.3 Letter of Appreciation—WHPD – Carole Edson 3.4 Letter of Appreciation---WHPD – the Heffernan Family 3.5 Letter of Appreciation --- WHPD—Ofc Audrey Jefferson – Suzanne Nally Gall 3.6 Letter of Appreciation---WHPD—Audrey E. Chief of Police Report: In Chief Karajanis’s absence, Deputy Chief Perno reported plans to attend ATAC meeting 11/8/11:30a Also plans to attend Public Service Award ceremony on Friday November 10, 2017 to honor Ofc. Audrey Jefferson 5. OLD BUSINESS: None 6. NEW BUSINESS: 6.1 Ordinance Hearing –Edwin Colon Jr. – 59 North Pl. 6.1a Litigation Executive Session After discussion, a motion was made for ticket to stand by Commissioner Sweeney and seconded by Commissioner Butler – Ticket stands 6.2 Ordinance Hearing – Timothy Decerbo—107 David St. 6.2a Litigation Executive Session After discussion, a motion was made to uphold the ticket as written by Commissioner Butler and seconded by Commissioner Sweeney – Ticket stands 6.3 Ordinance Hearing – Jason Kubicko—57 Carlson Rd. 6.3a Litigation Executive Session After discussion, the board decided to table further discussion until next session in two weeks. Motion was made by Commissioner Sweeney and seconded by Commissioner Butler 6.4 Ordinance Hearing – Lotus Lounge/Bart Reality LLC- 855 Boston Post Rd. 6.4a Litigation Executive Session After discussion, a motion was made by Commissioner Sweeney to dismiss the ticket and was seconded by Commissioner Butler 6.5 Ordinance Hearing –Marion Edwards & William Lytle – 10 Fenwick St. 6.5a Litigation Executive Session After discussion, a motion was made to table the discussion for 2 weeks at next scheduled meeting. Motion made by Commissioner Wright and seconded by Commissioner Sweeney – Table for 2 weeks 6.6 Ordinance Hearing – Kathleen Sullivan – Parking Ticket. 6.6a Litigation Executive Session  After discussion, a motion was made by Commissioner Sweeney to waive the parking ticket and seconded by Commissioner Wright. – Parking ticket waived. 7. PENSION BOARD: David Moran reviewed the most recent department investment report. He reports investments are doing well. 8. REPORT OF COMMITTEES – PERSONNEL COMMITTEE: Congratulations extended to Ofc. Audrey Jefferson for her nomination for a public service award. 9. COMMISSIONER REPORTS: None 10. EXECUTIVE SESSION: Commissioner Sweeney motioned to go into Executive Session, seconded by Commissioner Wright, and approved unanimously at 8:00pm Minutes Recorded by: A. Murray
