CITY OF WESTMINSTER HISTORIC DISTRICT COMMISSION MEETING SUMMARY Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at 7 PM City Hall, 1838 Emerald Hill Lane I. Call to Order 1) Statement of Authority-The Westminster Historic District Commission derives its authority from Chapter 164, Article 9A of the City Code; which is derived from Md. Code Annotated, Land Use Article, Division 1, Single Jurisdiction Planning and Zoning, Title 8, Historic Preservation. The qualifications of the Westminster Historic District Commission are on file at the City Administration Building, 56 W. Main Street; the file is open to the public. 2) Roll Call In attendance were Chair Kristen McMasters, Vice-Chair Dean Camlin, and Commissioner Kevin Wagman. City staff: Sandy Anderson and Andrew Gray were present. II. Approval of Minutes Commissioner Wagman made a motion to approve the summary of the June 5, 2017 meeting minutes. Vice-Chair Camlin seconded. The motion passed. III. Old Business 1) None IV. New Business 1) Historic District Commission - Comprehensive Plan Items - Mr. Gray presented the staff report to the Commission. He explained that the Plan is being reviewed by the Westminster Planning and Zoning Commission. Recommendations were given by the HDC for the Historic District Commission section of the Plan. V. Commissioner Reports 1) None  VI. Staff Report 1) None VII. Public Comment 1) None VIII. Adjournment Commissioner Wagman made a motion to adjourn. Vice-Chair Camlin seconded. The motion passed.
