South Area Fire Emergency Response District OFFICAL MEETING AGENDA OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS This regular meeting of the safer District Board of Directors, composed of five (5) members, on Tuesday, june 13th, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at the Rib Mountain Public Safety Building (Station #1) to consider the following matters: OPENING OF SESSION 1) Meeting called to order by Chairman Ermeling. 2) secretary will take attendance and roll call. 3) silence cellphones and other electronic devices. CORRESPONDENCE/COMMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC CONSENT ITEMS 4) Approve Prior Meeting Minutes from May 9, 2017 5) Approval of Vouchers for May/June 2017 BUSINESS ITEMS 6) change Battalion chiefs from salary to hourly wage. 7) Discuss possibility of the sale of the chevy trailblazer. 8) Insurance dividend funds. REPORTS 9) Fire Chief 10) Board of Directors CLOSING OF SESSION 11) Adjourn meeting of the Board of Directors, until June 13, 2017 @ 6:30 P.M. for a special Joint meeting of the Board of Directors and Fire Commission. This agenda was posted at the Rib Mountain Town Hall, Station #1, Station #2, and the Weston Municipal Center, as well as on the Village’s website at www.westonwi.gov. This agenda was emailed to local media outlets (Print, TV, and Radio) on 6/12/2017 @ 4:30 p.m. A quorum of members from other SAFER bodies (boards, commissions, and committees) may attend the above- noticed meeting to gather information. Should a quorum be other government bodies are present, this would constitute a meeting pursuant to State ex rel. Badke v. Greendale Village Bd., 173 Wis.2d 553,494 N.W.2d 408 (1993). Wisconsin State Statutes require all agendas for Committee, Commission, or Board meetings be posted in final form, 24 hours prior to the meeting. Any posted agenda is subject to change up until 24 hours prior to the date and time of the meeting. Any person who has a qualifying disability, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act, requiring that meeting or material to be in an accessible location or format, must contact Station #1 at 715-355- 6763 so any necessary arrangements can be made to accommodate each request. BUSINESS ITEMS 5) Convene into closed session under Wisconsin State Statute 19.85 (1) (c), which is allowed to consider employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation data of any public employee, over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility, specifically to evaluate the performance of the Fire Chief and Deputy Fire Chief. 6) Reconvene into open session. 7) Act on items discussed in closed session, if necessary. CLOSING OF SESSION 8) Adjourn meeting of the Board of Directors. 9) Adjourn meeting of the Fire Commission.
