ORDINANCES:
1. Ordinance authorizing the settlement of certain tax review proceedings.
2. Environmental Findings Resolution - Capital Project C5421 Kitrell Park Pool
Construction
3. Ordinance of the Common Council of the City of White Plains to amend the
Capital Projects Fund by establishing Capital Project No. 5421 entitled, Kitrell
Park Pool Construction.
4. Bond Ordinance dated June 2, 2014, authorizing the issuance of $2,424,000
aggregate principal amount serial bonds of the City of White Plains, County
of Westchester, State of New York, to finance the costs of the acquisition,
construction and reconstruction of improvements to City Parks and
Recreation areas.
5. Environmental Findings Resolution - Capital Project C5422 Mattison Park
Playground and Park Improvements.
6. Ordinance of the Common Council of the City of White Plains, to amend the
Capital Projects Fund by establishing Capital Project No. C5422 entitled,
Mattison Park Playground and Park Improvements.
7. Ordinance of the Common Council of the City of White Plains authorizing the
Commissioner of Public Works to enter into a revocable license agreement with
Metropolitan Plaza WP, LLC, to permit an encroachment above the City right-of-way
in connection with the construction of a canopy at 250 Main Street.
8. Ordinance of the Common Council of the City of White Plains authorizing the
transfer of $426,855, from Reserve for Financing, in relation to snow and ice
removal operations overtime and salt expenses incurred by the Department of
Public Works.
9. Ordinance authorizing the Mayor or his designee to enter into a sub-contract with
Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic, Inc., a contractor for the New York State
Department of Health, to receive a grant in the amount of $21,543, for the City of
White Plains Youth Bureau, to support the Comprehensive Adolescent Pregnancy
Prevention Program (CAPP), and to amend the FY 2013-2014 Youth Development
Fund to reflect said grant.
10. Ordinance of the Common Council of the City of White Plains authorizing the Mayor,
or his designee, to accept on behalf of the City of White Plains (through its Youth
Bureau), a donation in the amount of $100 from Larry’s Free Wheeling Inc., to be
used to purchase school supplies for the Ferris Avenue After School Program
supported by OASAS funding and to amend the FY 2013/2014 Youth Bureau’s
Youth Development Fund to reflect said donation.
11. Ordinance of the Common Council of the City of White Plains authorizing the Mayor
or his designee (acting by and through the Youth Bureau), to enter into a contract
with the County of Westchester (acting on behalf of the Westchester Putnam
Workforce Investment Board) to receive $5,000 in funding for private sector
Summer Employment Services to youth 16 - 24 years of age under the Workforce
Investment Act (WIA) for the period beginning January 1, 2014 to June 30, 2014.
12. Ordinance of the Common Council of the City of White Plains authorizing the Mayor,
or his designee, to accept on behalf of the City of White Plains (through its Youth
Bureau), donations in the amount of $4,191 to be used to offset the expenses for
the 2013 Father Daughter Dance and Mother Son Dance, and the Musical Stomp
and to amend the FY 2013/2014 Youth Bureau General Fund to reflect said
donations.
13. Ordinance amending the Traffic Ordinance of the City of White Plains in relation to
creating a “No Stopping Any Time” Zone on both sides of West Street.
