BOARD OF APPEALS ZONING CALENDAR NO AGENDA 7:00 PM JULY 15, 2020 This meeting was closed to in-person attendance due to the COVID-19 public health emergency. It was aired live on the White Plains Cable Access Channels (Channel 75 on Altice and Channel 47 on FIOS) and streamed on the City’s website (http://whiteplainsny.swagit.com/live). Z-2019-41 The Leffell School, 148-302 Rosedale Avenue, SBL 138.10-8-5 Application to amend a special permit. A review of the cover letter from Zarin & Steinmetz dated November 15, 2019 and copy of the existing condition site plan, indicates a proposed amendment to the existing special permit to allow the premises to be used as a summer day camp. The property is located in the R1-30 Zone where a private secondary or elementary school is a special permit use. The approving agency for such special permit is the Board of Appeals in accordance with Section 6.2. The proposed amended use will require an amendment to the special permit per Section 6.6.4. OUTCOME: WITHDRAWN Z-2020-3 Pasquale Fonzetti, 52 Clinton Street, SBL 125.35-2-3 Application to install a solar carport. A review of drawings T-001.00, G-001.00 and A-101.00 to A-103.00 with the engineer of record, James A. Clancy, P.E., indicates the installation of a free standing photovoltaic system carport. The accessory building will be located adjacent to and in front of the existing detached rear yard garage. The property is located in the R2-4 Zone and the existing detached garage is legally existing non-conforming with respect to side and rear lot line setbacks. A review of drawing 1 dated July 14, 2015 by Edward Brunner, P.E. indicates the legalization of a rear yard deck addition. The property is located in the R2-4 Zone. The subsequent deck addition has a top surface elevation greater than 3'-0" above average natural grade beneath it.
