Ordinance of the Common Council of the City of White Plains authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the County of Westchester, Department of Community Mental Health, in order to receive $181,299 in funding to continue the Project Hope Program through the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) providing alcohol and substance prevention services to the City of White Plains. Ordinance amending an ordinance adopted January 7, 2013, entitled, “An ordinance of the Common Council of the City of White Plains authorizing the Mayor, or his designee, to enter into a contract with the Westchester Community Foundation on behalf of the City of White Plains, through its Youth Bureau, to receive a one year grant to support the Growing White Plains Project and to amend the FY 2012-2013 Youth Development  Fund to reflect this grant.” ADOPTED 6 - 0. Communication from the Mayor in relation to an amendment to the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City and the White Plains Police Benevolent Association with regard to the creation, staffing and operation of a canine unit. Ordinance ratifying and approving a tentative agreement providing for an amendment to the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City of White Plains and the Police Benevolent Association of the City of White Plains, Inc., with regard to the impact of the City’s decision to create, staff and operate a canine unit.
