Smayda The Special Meeting of the Common Council called for Monday, July 28, 2014 at six o'clock in the evening in the Common Council Chamber, Municipal Building. Mayor Roach presiding and the following Members present: Mrs. Hunt-Robinson, Mr. Kirkpatrick, Mr. Krolian, Mr. Martin, Mrs. Lecuona, and Mrs. Smayda. ________ The Special Meeting was called to discuss the following Capital Projects: Water Filtration Plant Rehabilitation Design and Rehabilitation; Miscellaneous Street Reconstruction FY 2015 (CHIPS); Dam Rehabilitation; Electronic Device Replacement: Fire and Police FY 2015; City Fuel Site Upgrades; Chester Maple Garage Fire System Upgrade; Brookfield Commons Sanitary Sewer Lines. The Mayor granted the privilege of the floor to Commissioner of Public Works Joseph Nicoletti. ________ The Special Meeting continued with a presentation by City Clerk, Anne McPherson, and Commissioner of Planning Elizabeth Cheteny, in relation to proposed historic preservation legislation. ________ Mr. Martin moved to enter into executive session for the purpose of discussing litigation in the matter of Steven Saunders v. City of White Plains, et al. Mrs. Smayda seconded the motion. Carried. Mr. Martin moved to enter into executive session for the purpose of discussing litigation in the matter of Steven Saunders v. City of White Plains, et al. Mrs. Smayda seconded the motion. Carried. Mr. Martin moved to resume the Special Meeting Mrs. Smayda seconded the motion.
