Mayor or his designee to execute grant documents on behalf of the City of Whtie
Plains in relation to the acceptance of a Pedestrian Safety Initiative Grant in the
amount of $8,000 from the New York State Governors’ Traffic Safety Committee,
to be used for law enforcement purposes to reduce the number of accidents with
injuries involving pedestrians that are largely due to driver inattention and traffic
violations, such as unsafe speed and failure to yield to pedestrians. OFFERED
