Smayda A Special Meeting of the Common Council held Tuesday, March 7, 2017, called for seven thirty o'clock in the evening in the Common Council Chamber. Mayor Roach presiding and the following members present: Mrs. Hunt Robinson, Mr. Kirkpatrick, Mr. Krolian, Mrs. Lecuona, Mr. Martin and Mrs. Smayda. This Special Meeting was for the purpose of holding a public hearing in relation to the proposed establishment of a community residence facility at 22 New York Avenue South. The Mayor announced a public hearing in relation to the proposed establish- ment of a community residence facility at 22 New York Avenue South by the Institute of Applied Human Dynamics, Inc., pursuant to New York State Mental Hygiene Law Section 41.34. Mr. Martin moved that the hearing be opened. Mrs. Smayda seconded the motion. 788 COMMON COUNCIL MINUTES March 7, 2017 Carried. The Mayor declared the hearing opened and asked if anyone wished to be heard. The Mayor granted the privilege of the floor to: Stanley Silverstein, applicant; Nick Solow, 5 Winslow; Gabe Feder, 17 New York Avenue South, Michelle Perkins, President Prospect Park Association; Charles Philips; Megan Water, Scott Circle; Connie Brown, 16 Winslow Road; Al Vent, 5 Vermont; Rose Noonan, 5 Winslow; Gary Katz, 21 Winslow; Lou Goldstein, 5 Scott Circle; Phil Sherman, 10 Pin Oak Lane; Ray Goldstein, 5 Scott Cirle; Andrew (unknown); (unknown woman), Andrea Sherman, 10 Pin Oak Lane; Michele Bonsignone; David Glick, 18 New York Avenue South; Carol Bender; Bob Moody, 23 New York Avenue South; Mary Ann Vent, 5 New York Avenue. Mr. Kirkpatrick moved that the hearing be adjourned to March 8, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. in the Common Council Chamber. Mr. Krolian seconded the motion. Carried.
