COMMON COUNCIL AGENDA SPECIAL MEETING February 26, 2024 6:30 PM DISCUSSION: 1. Proposed fee increases for the Youth Bureau’s FY 2024/2025 fee-based programs. 2. DRI Grant. 3. Proposed discontinuance of a portion of Davis Avenue between Maple Avenue and East Post Road. 4. Motion to enter into executive session to discuss the potential appointment of a particular person.  A Special Meeting of the Common Council held Monday, February 26, 2024, called for six thirty o’clock in the Common Council Chamber to entertain a motion to enter into executive session to discuss the potential appointment of a particular person. Mayor Roach presiding and the following members present: Mr. Brasch, Mr. Frei-Pearson, Mr. Martin, Mr Payne, Ms. Presser, Mrs. Puja. Mayor Roach granted the pleasure of the floor to the Director of the Youth Bureau to discuss fee increases for the Youth Bureau’s FY 2024/2025 fee-based programs.  Mayor Roach discussed the DRI Grant and discussed the Com mittee. The Mayor granted the pleasure of the floor to Deputy Commissioner of Parking, Thomas Soyk to discuss the traffic impacts of the proposed discontinuance of Davis Avenue between Maple Avenue and East Post Road. Mayor Roach made a motion to enter into executive session to executive session to discuss the employment of a particular person. Council President Presser seconded. Carried. Council President Presser made a motion to move out of executive session. Mr. Brasch seconded the motion. Carried.
