WHITEFISH ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW COMMITTEE MINUTES July 16, 2024 The meeting was called to order by, Ryan Kiefer, vice chair, at 8:15 AM PRESENT: Christine Bleyhl (via phone), Grant Hughes, Ryan Kiefer, Paul McElroy, Tracy Rossi, Elizabeth Zachman ABSENT: Leslie Lowe STAFF: Wendy Compton-Ring PUBLIC COMMENT: none MINUTES: The minutes from July 2, 2024 were unanimously approved. OLD BUSINESS Townhome, 1028 Patton Lane, Kristl (ARC 24-18) Described the site plan and landscaping including how the trees along the frontage will be retained. Also described the building materials, as shown in the updated elevations. They are still proposing to do the checkerboard material application versus the side-by-side application. Ryan – looks good Tracy – looks great Christine – questions about the LED tape light and its applications Motion: Tracy – move to approve Paul – 2nd Discussion: none Vote: motion passes unanimously NEW BUSINESS Façade Change, 492 E 2nd Street, Pure West (ARC 24-19) Described the awning over the existing window to the west of the entrance. It will be the same materials and same depth with a gap between the window and the entryway. Paul – thinks the awning should be continuous 1 Ryan – suggested it could either make the awning subordinate to the one over the door or make it continuous Paul – corbel? Ryan – one less corbel – on the west end Motion: Tracy – move to approve subject the awning being a continuous extension of the existing awning over the door with only one corbel on the western end of the awning extension Grant – 2nd Discussion: none Vote: motion passes unanimously OTHER ITEMS none Meeting adjourned at 8:33 AM 2
