Board of Aldermen Meeting

CITY OF WILLARD BOARD OF ALDERMEN SPECIAL MEETING AUGUST 23RD, 2006 7:00 P.M. Board members present: Mayor Thomas J. Keltner, Aldermen Charles Whitehead, Aldermen Gordon O’Quinn, and Aldermen Richard Simpson. Aldermen Bill Caplinger was not present. Also in attendance: City Administrator, Fred Gress; City Clerk, Kathy Snyder; Director of Development, Randy Brown; Chief of Police, Tom McClain; Executive Secretary Planning & Zoning, Lucille Murray; Planning & Zoning member, Bradley Dalton; and City Attorney, Ken Reynolds. Guest present: Ralph Rognstad, Kim Haase, and Jackie Gamble. Mayor Thomas J. Keltner led the Pledge of Allegiance. Mayor Thomas J. Keltner called the meeting to order. Ralph Rognstad, Senior Director of the Planning Department for the City of Springfield spoke on Planned Development Districts. Discussed options of businesses mixed with residential areas. Police Officer Reserve Program Chief of Police, Tom McClain requested pay for the reserve officers in the amount of $10.00 per hour. Chief stated that this would be covered in the budget under the line item “overtime”. Motion made by Richard Simpson with second by Charles Whitehead to pay the reserve officers in the amount of $10.00 per hour. Charles Whitehead-yes. Richard Simpson- yes. Gordon O’Quinn-abstained.
