Board of Aldermen Meeting

CITY OF WILLARD BOARD OF ALDERMAN SPECIAL MEETING September 24, 2012 Board present: Alderman Johnson -present, Alderman Roggensees-present, Alderman Hemphill-present, Mayor Keltner-present, Alderman Vincent-present and Alderman Simmons -present. Alderman Trapp was absent. Staff present: City Clerk, Dale Duvall; CFO, Karen Robson; City Administrator, Nicholas Heatherly; and Director of Development, Randy Brown. Citizens in attendance: None Mayor Keltner led the Pledge of Allegiance Call to Order Mayor Tom Keltner called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. Roll Call The City Clerk called the roll call. Alderman Trapp---, Alderman Roggensees-present, Alderman Hemphill-present, Mayor Keltner-present, Alderman Johnson-present, Alderman Vincent-present and Alderman Simmons-present. 2013 Budget Draft Discussion The City Administrator presented the draft of the 2013 budget for discussion. The proposed wage increases was discussed and the Board and the Mayor determined that the City Administrator’s increase should be $1500.00. Motion was made by Alderman Simmons and seconded by Alderman Vincent to amend the City Administrator’s raise to $1500.00. Alderman Simmons--Aye, Alderman Trapp---, Alderman Roggensees- Aye, Alderman Hemphill-Aye, Alderman Vincent-Aye and Alderman Johnson-Aye. All votes aye. Motion carried. Motion was made by Alderman Simmons and seconded by Alderman Roggensees to accept the raises of the other city employees as presented in the draft. Alderman Simmons--Aye, Alderman Trapp---, Alderman Roggensees-Aye, Alderman Hemphill-Nay, Alderman Vincent-Aye and Alderman Johnson- Nay. Three votes aye. Two votes nay. Motion carried. Adjourn Meeting- Motion was made by Alderman Simmons and seconded by Alderman Hemphill to adjourn the meeting. Alderman Simmons--Aye, Alderman Trapp---, Alderman Roggensees-Aye, Alderman Hemphill-Aye, Alderman Vincent-Aye and Alderman Johnson-Aye. All votes aye. Motion carried.
