RESOLVED, that Vincent L. Lynch, residing at 99 Milton St., Williamsville, is hearby appointed as
an active member of the Williamsville Fire Department, effective December 1, 2019.

RESOLVED, that Change Order #4 for Milherst Construction, Inc. for the deletion of a tack coat on the
Cadman Drive Road project #838, is hereby approved in the cost reduction amount of $2,341.00.

RESOLVED, that the Mayor is hereby authorized to sign the Penflex, Inc. Service Fee Agreement for the
Village of Williamsville Firefighter Length of Service Award Program, for the period from November 1,
2019 to October 31, 2020

RESOLVED, that the 2020 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding of approximately
$40,000.00 be allocated as follows: $10,000.00 to the roof and stabilization for the conversion of the
Noll Nature Building to an open air pavilion at Glen Park (with the Town of Amherst also to supply
$10,000.00 to this project) and $30.000.00 to the stabilization, windows & other exterior work needed at
the Historic Section House.

RESOLVED, that the starting salary for the position of Court Clerk, is $16.48 per hour, effective as of
November 25, 2019.
YATES #1
WHEREAS, the Village of Williamsville Board of Trustees, in coordination with the Village of Williamsville
Department of Public Works, desires to complete a comprehensive Village tree planting initiative located solely
within the Village right-of-way along streets and municipal properties;
WHEREAS, the Village of Williamsville Board of Trustees has endorsed an application requesting an amount
not to exceed $50,000 for financial assistance through the Urban and Community Forestry Program (UCF)
administrated by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation in the form of grant funding;
WHEREAS, the Village of Williamsville Board of Trustees commits to providing a minimum 25% match of the
requested grant funds to complete the project within a 24-month period to ensure the timely implementation and
completion of the proposed project;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Ms. Deborah Rodgers, as Mayor of the Village of Williamsville, or
such person's successor, is hereby authorized and directed to file an application to the New York State
Department of Environmental Conservation Urban and Community Forestry Grants Program, for 75% matching
funds in an amount not to exceed $50,000, and upon approval of said request to enter into and execute a project
agreement with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation for such financial assistance to
the Village of Williamsville, New York for a comprehensive Village tree planting initiative.

RESOLVED, that the proposed amendment to Chapter 12 (Buildings, Demolition of: Blasting) of the
Village Code, regarding regulations of building demolitions, is hereby adopted as Local Law #7 of
2019.

RESOLVED, that the proposed amendment to Chapter 112 (Zoning) of the Village Code, to regulate
the short-term rental of properties, is hereby adopted as Local Law #8 of 2019.
