Kindron is hereby re-appointed as Village Administrator/Clerk-Treasurer from 11/01/2021 – 10/31/2023. ETU #1 WHEREAS, the Village of Williamsville Board of Trustees has previously approved the allocation of the 2020 Community Development Block Grant funds to be applied as follows: Village Meeting House $33,620.00 Glen Park Noll Pavilion Roof $10,000.00; and WHEREAS, all exterior improvements to the Village Meeting House have been completed, leaving a balance of $5,409.37 in the 2020 CDBG fund allocation unused; and WHEREAS, the Village of Williamsville and the Glen Park Joint Board have decided that the $10,000.00 allocation for the Roof at the Noll Nature Center will not be used at this time; and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the balance of the 2020 CDBG funds, equaling $15,409.37, be applied to exterior work at the Historic Lehigh Valley Section House, where work can begin immediately. SHERMAN #1: RESOLVED, that the official date of Halloween Trick or Treat in the Village of Williamsville is hereby designated as Sunday, October 31st. TORRE #1: RESOLVED, to adopt Local Law #2 of 2021 to amend Chapter 103 (Vehicle and Traffic) reducing the speed limit on Garrison Road, within corporate limits, from 30mph to 25mph. TORRE #2: WHEREAS, the Glen Park Noll Nature Pavilion Roof is in need of repair; and WHEREAS, Village of Williamsville Department of Public Works has the primary responsibility of maintaining Glen Park, as per the agreement with the Town of Amherst; and WHEREAS, three (3) written quotations have been received for this project; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the project is hereby awarded to AVA Roofing & Siding of Tonawanda, New York for their low bid of $18,470.00. TORRE #3: WHEREAS, vehicles speeding on Evans Street have become increasingly dangerous; and WHEREAS, speeding on streets in the Village of Williamsville is a health and safety issue for the residents; and WHEREAS, Evans Street is an Erie County Road, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Village of Williamsville would like to apply for a sign permit from Erie County allowing the Village to install a flashing speed sign, that the Village will maintain, on Evans Street in the Village of Williamsville.
