ROGERS #6 RESOLVED, that Kennan Keyser, residing at 4 Millrace North, Williamsville, and Matthew Prusiecki, residing at 61 Fairhaven Drive, Cheektowaga, are hereby appointed as active members of the Williamsville Fire Department, effective March 1, 2022. ROGERS #7 RESOLVED, that Douglas Richardson residing at 221 Hirschfield Drive, Williamsville is hereby appointed to the Traffic & Safety Committee through the end of the 2021-2022 official Village. ROGERS #8 RESOLVED, that the Village Administrator is hereby authorized to publish legal notice of a public hearing to be held by the Village Board of Trustees at 7:30pm on Monday February 28, 2022 at Village Hall, 5565 Main Street, Williamsville, New York for the purpose of hearing all persons interested in expressing an opinion on the proposed local law amending the Zoning Code regarding durational limits on land use approvals. ROGERS #9: RESOLVED, that the Village of Williamsville has been approved for an EFC WIIA Grant in the amount of $1,612.500.00 for the $6,450,000.00 Sewer Project; and WHEREAS, the Village has approved Bonding for this project at the June 24, 2019 Village Board Meeting; and WHEREAS, closing documents for this WIAA contract have been received; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Administrator is authorized to sign the WIAA Contract #C9-6651-06-00 for the Village of Williamsville. CARSON #1 WHEREAS, the members of the Planning Board, Zoning Board of Appeals and Historic Preservation Commission (“Land Use Boards”) of the Village of Williamsville are required by state and/or local law to complete four hours of training each year to more effectively carry out their duties (“Required Land Use Training”); and WHEREAS, the enabling statutes mandating this Required Land Use Training further provide that such training be approved by the Board of Trustees; and WHEREAS, the NYS Department of State Local Government Services provided virtual training in their Winter Webinar Series on the topic of Enforcement of Zoning and Other Local Laws on December 14, 2021 at 5:00pm; and WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees finds that attendance at such training will be of benefit to the members of the Planning and Architectural Review Board; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Village Board hereby authorizes the members of the Planning and Architectural Review Board to participate in the NYS Department of State Local Government Services provided virtual training in their Winter Webinar Series on the topic of Enforcement of Zoning and Other Local Laws on December 14, 2021, and certifies that such participation shall satisfy two hours of the Required Land Use Training.
