applied for financial assistance from the Erie County Municipal Planning Grant, for the purpose of funding the Village of Williamsville's Comprehensive Plan Update and Zoning Ordinance Update Project; RESOLVED, that the Village of Williamsville is authorized and directed to accept these grant funds in an amount not to exceed $30,000.00 for the project described in the grant application; RESOLVED, that the Village of Williamsville will make available a minimum of $10,000 in matching funds as indicated in the grant application and will facilitate any additional funds required to ensure the completion of the project; RESOLVED, that the Village of Williamsville is authorized and directed to agree to the terms and conditions of the Intermunicipal Agreement with the County of Erie for the Village of Williamsville's Comprehensive Plan Update and Zoning Ordinance Update Project; IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED, that the governing body of the Village of Williamsville hereby authorizes the Mayor to execute the Intermunicipal Agreement and any amendments thereto, any required documentation, and any other certifications. HUNT #4 RESOLVED, that Gabriel Benitez of Williamsville, New York, is hereby appointed as an active member of the Williamsville Fire Department effective October 1, 2024. HUNT #5 RESOLVED, that Katherine Balduf, of Williamsville, New York, is hereby appointed as Secretary to the Mayor, effective September 30, 2024. TORRE #1 RESOLVED, that the Village Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to publish notice of public hearing to be held on October 15, 2024, at 7:30 p.m., to hear all persons interested in communicating on a proposed law amending Chapter 70 (Parks and Public Areas) Relative to Sound Amplification (to prohibit sound amplification in Garrison and South Long Parks). TORRE #2 RESOLVED, that Paul J. Glauber, of the Village of Williamsville, NY, is hereby appointed as an Alternate for the Zoning Board of Appeals effective immediately. TORRE #3 RESOLVED, that Paula Glauber, of the Village of Williamsville, NY, is hereby appointed to the Glen Park Joint Board effective immediately. 4 CELESTE #1 RESOLVED, that the Village Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to publish notice of public hearing to be held on October 15, 2024, at 7:30 p.m., to hear all persons interested in communicating on a proposed law amending Chapter 103 (Vehicles and Traffic) lowering school zone speed limits on Glen Avenue and School Street and establishing a School Zone Speed Limit on Academy Street.
