Commission Meeting

July 20, 2022 A regular meeting of the Board of City Commissioners was held on July 20, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. at the City Meeting Room. Present Commissioners John Clausen, Lisa Hedstrom, Jim Schacher and Pres. LeeAnn Domonoske-Kellar. Motion made by Schacher and seconded Hedstrom to approve the minutes of the last regular meeting (7-6-22), the organizational meeting minutes held on July 6, 2022 and the special meeting minutes held on July 7, 2022 as presented. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Clausen and seconded by Hedstrom to approve the agenda as presented. All present voted aye, motion carried. A draft of the 2023 budget was presented to the commission for review. The additional grant money the City received was discussed. The City will hold a public input meeting before deciding on how to use the funds. Motion made by Schacher and seconded by Hedstrom to approve the resolution authorizing issuance of $1,319,000 Water and Sewer Revenue Bond, Series A and $1,688,000 Water and Sewer Revenue Bond, Series B. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Schacher and seconded by Clausen to approve the liquor license transfer for the County Line Café to serve alcohol at the Memorial Hall on July 30, 2022 for a wedding reception. All present voted aye, motion carried. Motion made by Clausen and seconded by Hedstrom to pay bills as presented. Roll call vote. Aye: Comm. Clausen, Hedstrom, Schacher and Pres. Domonoske-Kellar. Absent: Comm. Kary. Motion carried. With no other items for discussion Pres.
